The service was top-notch, the food was incredible, and the beers were great. Plus, the sparkling water was free, which was a nice touch. My wife and I had an amazing time.
Stumbled on this spot whilst walking around Busselton town centre last week. Couldn't have timed it better, we were craving a home cooked meal and what we found was even better. Excellent service from the prompt and friendly wait staff, whilst the Chefs were sending out incredible food from the kitchen. We had the tiger prawns & steak frites, paired with some local wines and could not have been happier with our choices. Can't believe we haven't found this place in Busselton before, can't wait to go back.
We came across this place after finding disappointing menu options at two other bigger hotels… so happy we got the last two seats in the window. The wine list was great and we both couldn’t go past the steak frites which was delicious! The wait staff were attentive and really friendly. It was just a great night sitting in the window with good food and wine enjoying the cozy atmosphere of the vibing restaurant. Next time we will book a table and I would definitely recommend booking on a weekend or during holiday season. Can’t wait to return!
Dirty martini had the juiciest plumpiest meatiest olives I’ve ever had. Bartenders played bangin vinyl tunes, made delicious drinks, and served some delicious food. Wish this place was closer to perth but love ya work x
Just had our anniversary dinner at Banksia Tavern while in Busselton for the long weekend — and honestly, we were blown away from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The service was spot on, the venue had such a warm and comfy vibe, and the cocktails were super refreshing. We went with the 5-course meal, and wow — every single dish was packed with flavour. The cob salad and scallops were definite standouts. So good. We were so full by the end, we had to take dessert to go — but no regrets there! Such a perfect night.
Such a gem found off the main street in Busselton. Cocktails were unique, food was amazing & decent serving size and staff and atmosphere were perfect for a cosy date night. Only thing that could have made it better was if it was raining outside... would have made the fireplace even more delightful. Loved the vintage decor and record players. It was not somewhere I would bring my kids - only because it was too nice but not in a fancy snobby way. I can't say anything negative about this place. The kind of place I wish was 10 minutes from home (but alas, we live 2 hours north of here) Can't wait to come back again one day. Thanks Banksia, you were very memorable!
The sharing platter is really nice. Delicious & well prep. It’s a pity that the two us do not have the stomach for the steak frites! We will definitely be back if we are nearby!
